Sennheiser Sport True Wireless earbuds review: Design
The Sennheiser Sport True Wireless earbuds come with a charging case that is quite unique when it is first opened in the box. It is huge, dressed in black, and features a side loop in case you want to hang it with a thread inside or on top of your backpack. The charging case has the appearance of a tiny icebox. There is an LED indication in front of the box, and the lid is magnetically controlled. The USB charging connector is located on the back and is effectively concealed by a rubber panel. This is advantageous since it will protect the charging port from water and dust.
Large Sennheiser Sport True Wireless headphones in black with a hint of dark bronze as the logo are visible when you open the strong lid. The charging case’s lid features the same colour scheme as well. The earbuds are boxy in shape and have a huge audio driver and battery inside. On the back of the earbuds are the charging ports.
The Sennheiser SportTrue Wireless earbuds appear to be incredibly durable, and all one needs to do to wear them is push them into the ear canal and twist. Additionally, they come with several silicone ear tips. While the other has a cross string in it, one has an open hole in it. These may be used in concentration or aware mode, which we found to be a little laborious because we had to take one out and put another one in each time. Three more rubber fins are included as well, which can be utilised for various ear types. You can keep the earphones in place by using the fins. For voice calls, there are also 2 mics on each earpiece.

Sennheiser Sport True Wireless earbuds review: Performance
The enjoyable portion of the evaluation will now be its performance. This is where the earphones shine nearly entirely. What does “nearly” mean? We will reveal it to you shortly. Let’s quickly go over some of the Sennheiser Sport True Wireless earphones’ technical specifications. Each earphone contains a 7mm transducer. Each earpiece has a 55mAh battery in addition to a 400mAh backup battery that is housed in the charging case.
According to the firm, you can play for nine hours. About 8 hours were obtained during testing, which is still extremely impressive. Through the charging case, an extra 27 hours of playback are possible. Also, an hour of audio playback can be obtained from a box charge in just 10 minutes. The earbuds within the charging box must be fully charged for roughly 1.5 hours.
But how crisp is the audio? Well, it’s really, really good. There are extraordinary highs and lows. Additionally amazing are the voices. But the pounding from Sennheiser Sport True Wireless earbuds was something we wanted a little bit more of. Well, the bass isn’t really bassy. You can improve it with the Sennheiser Smart Control app, but it isn’t perfect. Additionally, you can switch between the Focus and Aware modes via the app. But you also have to change the silicone tips from open to cross, which is a laborious task.
Feather tap panels are another element of the Sennheiser Sport True Wireless earbuds. You can tap to answer or end calls, play or pause music, or move to the previous or next track. Furthermore, these audio earplugs have an IP54 rating, which implies that they won’t be ruined by dust or water splashes.
Verdict
The Sennheiser Sport True Wireless earbuds are not the lightest at 42 grammes apiece, but at Rs 10,990, they are one of the company’s more affordable wireless headphone options.
Overall, we were really pleased with the battery life and audio quality. Yes, the pounding should have been improved, but the app’s EQ choices help to some amount. It could have been much better with a little bit more. These would have been an excellent purchase if the firm had included ANC at this price tag. However, if ANC is not your top priority and you’re looking to get a pair of branded wireless headphones, you can do it in a heartbeat.
