Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite design and display
First of all, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is a really well-made device. You receive everything you need, including a stunning display and a metal back for a luxurious feel. Yes, it could use some trimming around the skull and chin area, but other than that, it looks fantastic. Along with the earpiece speaker grille, the front also houses the video/selfie camera on its top. Along with the secondary microphone, the power and volume rockers are located on the right side.
The 4G SIM slot is located on the left side, which also has enough for a microSD card with a maximum capacity of 1 TB. So, the answer is that consumers can make audio calls using this tablet. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite’s loudspeaker grille, 3.5mm audio connectors, USB Type-C charging port, and primary microphone are all located at the bottom. This device has stereo speakers since the top includes a second speaker grille. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite’s back includes a single camera, and you can see Samsung branding there.
Moving on, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite’s display is one of its outstanding qualities. The 8.7-inch TFT display features 16M colours and HD+ quality. The experience was far better than that of any other tablet in the pricing range when we watched a lot of YouTube videos and Netflix series on the gadget. Thanks to the two speakers, the sound was powerful and excellent. Also, the outside visibility is good. Nice brightness prevents the screen from becoming washed out in direct sunshine. Overall, the screen lives up to its asking price.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite review: Performance and Camera
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7Lite has been given the greatest possible budget-friendly setup by the business. Users receive an octa-core MediaTek CPU with a maximum clock speed of 2.3GHz inside the device. There is 32GB of storage and 3GB of RAM. Which, by budgetary criteria, is approximately okay, but, in our opinion, has 1 GB too little RAM. We experienced shocks and latency in the system because of this.
The Samsung ONE UI 3.1 on top of the Android 11 OS causes vibrations while surfing the apps, which open swiftly. For older sibling S7, it is like taking a trip across the park. It is a little bit of a workout for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite though. On the lowest settings, games like Asphalt 9 Legends or COD-Mobile work smoothly, but as soon as the settings are increased, the frames start to decrease and the game lags. Therefore, if you want to enjoy these games, it is better to keep the settings down. But it’s still a significant plus that these games work on the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite.
Another positive aspect of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is its long battery life. The battery lasted for more than 3 days. We used it to make a few phone calls, view a couple of Netflix movies, and browse YouTube for a while. Not bad for an internal 5,100 mAh battery. With WiFi enabled, all of this. However, the tablet does start to feel a touch heated after extended use.
Regarding the cameras, you can use them for your basic tasks just. When making video chats or interacting with your study group, the front-facing 2MP camera is enough. You won’t get the best selfies possible using your smartphone. Better is the 8MP camera on the back. While the pictures taken indoors lacked the punch of the ones taken outside, they were nonetheless filled with great details and brilliant colours. Again, keep your smartphone close at reach if you want to take quality shots.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite review: Verdict
In general, those who wish to participate in office video chats or video classes may consider purchasing the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite. For someone who wants portability, a good display, and powerful sound but doesn’t want to pay a lot of money, the tablet does make a lot of sense for Rs 14,999. You can buy it if you have a limited budget; if not, consider the Tab S7 or the newest Apple iPad.
