Philips OneBlade Pro QP6550 electric shaver review: Design
The packaging uses the very minimum amount of plastic when you open the box. One of such businesses that cares about the environment and uses nearly no plastic in its packaging is Philips. The Philips OneBlade Pro QP6550 electric shaver, two blade attachments, one body grooming comb, one precision comb, charger, blade protector, and carry pouch are all included in the box.
The Philips OneBlade Pro QP6550 electric shaver is covered in a silver and black exterior and extensively uses rubber on its backside for added grip. The front and rear both feature Philips branding. Under the power button on the front is a single-color LED panel that also displays the battery level. The bottom is where you’ll find the charging port. Overall, it does appear extremely upscale.
Introducing the Philips OneBlade Pro Face & Body Trimmer in India
The other accessories, which also include two blades and combs, are of the highest calibre. With an excellent mixture of fine steel on the blades and soft plastic on the combs, these do have a tinge of fluorescent colour or are completely fluorescent in hue. It’s simple to attach and remove any of the blades or combs from the primary shaver. You can attach or detach any of the included accessories by simply pushing the head slider up.
Philips OneBlade Pro QP6550 electric shaver: Performance
We had no issues with the Philips OneBlade ProQP6550 electric shaver’s performance. It is among the best Philips has ever developed, and it meets all physical and face needs. With the included blades and pro precision comb, men can effortlessly trim, shave, or fine-tune their beard and moustache. With its 14 length points, this comb makes it simple to manage the length of your facial hair. Additionally, using it is incredibly pleasant because, when attached, it forms a L shape that helps with precision.
Additionally, the same Philips OneBlade Pro QP6550 electric shaver may be used to trim body hair, including that on the chest and beneath the arms, with no discomfort. For body and neck hair, clippers are a great choice because they leave behind hair that is a light tint. But not with this Philips shaver. Even on the neck, you receive a razor-close shave, as if you had used one.
Although Philips advises replacing the blades every 3 to 4 months, if you are not a frequent user, they should easily last you over 5 to 6 months.
The smartphone charged with no issues at all. In less than 25 minutes, it went from zero to 100 percent charged. The battery also has a very long lifespan. We have only needed to charge it once in the past ten days of use.
Verdict
Overall, we were pleased with the performance of the Philips OneBlade Pro QP6550 electric shaver. Given that it comes with a tonne of attachments for various face and body needs, Rs 6,999 is not a bad price. Additionally, compared to the conventional blade and foam, this one is simple to clean and makes a lot less mess.
A cleaning brush in the bag, however, would have been helpful. Since we had one on hand, cleaning it was a breeze for us. The Philips OneBlade Pro QP6550 electric shaver is an excellent choice if you’re someone who enjoys styling his beard and wants to show off great facial hair.
