Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo debuted the Oppo A7 in November 2018, and the device has already seen a price reduction twice. The identical smartphone had a price reduction on both variants just one month prior.
The Oppo A7 has a notched display with a waterdrop design, two rear cameras, and a large battery. While the Oppo A7’s 4GB RAM version debuted in November 2018, the 3GB RAM model was introduced in January 2019. The updated pricing for the gadgets is as follows:

The Oppo A7 smartphone now costs Rs 12,990 for the 3GB RAM/64GB storage edition and Rs 14,990 for the 4GB RAM/64GB storage variant. They were formerly available for Rs 14,990 and Rs 15,990, respectively.
Mahesh Telecom, a retailer from Mumbai, first announced the price reduction on Twitter, and Gadgets360 later confirmed it. The Oppo A7’s pricing was cut to Rs 15,990 last month from Rs 16,990 when it was first released with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage. Along with other sellers, the updated pricing are now available on Flipkart, Amazon India, and Paytm.

A 19:9 aspect ratio In-Cell HD+ (720 x 1520 pixels) display is featured on the Oppo A7. It is powered by an Adreno 506 GPU and an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC. The A7 smartphone has 64GB of internal storage, 3GB or 4GB of RAM, and a microSD card slot that supports cards up to 256GB in size. The device runs ColorOS 5.2 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo and supports dual-SIM (Nano). The Oppo A7 has a 4,230mAh battery but no support for fast charging, and it sports a fingerprint scanner on the back.
The Oppo A7’s dual-rear camera arrangement, which includes a 13MP primary camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP secondary camera with an f/2.4 lens, is available on the camera front. A 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture is located on the front.
The Oppo A7 also has a 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/A-GPS, Micro-USB with OTG support, and 4G VoLTE. The Oppo A7 has a proximity sensor, gyroscope, digital compass, accelerometer, and ambient light sensor.
The Oppo A7 is now a rival to devices like the Redmi Note 7 and Samsung Galaxy M20 thanks to the recent price drop.
