Logitech MX Mechanical wireless keyboard review: Design
As usual, let’s begin with the device’s design. The Logitech MXMechanical keyboard is a well designed and superbly constructed keyboard. It screams premiumness and has a highly futuristic appearance. Since it is a full-size keyboard, it also contains a NUM pad with all of its functions.

Based on their commitment to carbon neutrality, Logitech has dressed their products in silver and grey hues by using low carbon aluminium and 40% recycled plastic. Let’s expand on that a little bit. Logitech’s packaging is composed of recyclable materials as well. There isn’t much plastic in the packing, and the gadget is sent and packaged using cardboard or paper. This is excellent for the environment, and they also offer distributor service in the event that you wish to recycle your old electronics.
Returning to the Logitech MX Mechanical wireless keyboard’s appearance, the upper right corner of the device has a USB Type-C charging connector. On the top of the keyboard, which also serves as the function keys, are all the multimedia keys and more. There are buttons for search, calculator, music playback and audio control, an unique emoji button, and our favourite, the lock button for the computer, which is situated in the upper right corner of the NUM pad.
The keys may be removed and separated, making cleaning simple. Additionally, the wireless Logitech MX Mechanical keyboard has a 7-level backlight with 5 illumination modes, including breathing and random key illumination. In case you were wondering, yes, the keyboard has RGB backlighting. The illumination in this contains only one white colour, thus no. The nicest thing is that the lights automatically switch on as soon as your hand approaches the keyboard.
Last but not least, the top of the keyboard features the Logi logo on a tastefully positioned black bar with a low battery light indicator to its right. Yes, the user is provided with twin pull-out feet underneath the keyboard that raise it a few millimetres for a more ergonomic feel.
Logitech MX Mechanical wireless keyboard review: Performance
Now let’s discuss how well the Logitech MX Mechanical wireless keyboard performs. The Logitech MX Mechanical wireless keyboard was the subject of our review, and we were pleased with it. This keyboard’s keys are incredibly smooth and a pleasure to use. There is a subconscious learning curve of a gadget when you switch keyboards. However, it did not occur to us because as soon as we placed our hands and fingers on this keyboard, we immediately felt at home.
As its name suggests, the Logitech MX Mechanical wireless keyboard is a mechanical keyboard. But there isn’t much room for movement between key presses. This is advantageous because the tactile feel is excellent and you can type more quickly with leaner, flatter keys.
The multi-device compatibility of the LogitechMX Mechanical wireless keyboard is another plus. By hitting the 1, 2, or 3 keys located above the home and page up keys, users can simultaneously connect it to up to three other devices and switch between them in real time. You can switch between Windows and MAC, according to the business. Although we were unable to test this, Windows to Windows worked just well.
Any device can be connected to the keyboard by Bluetooth or the included USB dongle. In addition to the USB charging port, a power button is provided to totally switch off the gadget. According to the manufacturer, the Logitech MX Mechanical wireless keyboard’s battery should last for up to 10 months while the backlight is off or 15 days with the backlight on after a full charge. With the backlight set to 50%, we have been using it for the past 8–9 days, and it is functioning nicely without requiring a recharge.
Review of the Logitech MX Anywhere 3 for businesspeople
We did play a couple games with it, such as DOTA 2 and CS: Go, to further stress-test it. We were amazed at how well it worked. Nearly as excellent as the company’s full-time gaming keyboards. We were quite pleased with this portable keyboard overall.
Verdict
Overall, the keyboard is highly durable thanks to the addition of aluminium. With the Logitech MX Mechanical wireless keyboard, we were able to type with remarkable ease and, intriguingly, there was less weariness.
The least forceful touch on the keyboard is registered, and the level of the mechanical sound is perfect. This keyboard is intended for makers, creators, etc. So, is it worthwhile to purchase at Rs 19,999? Yes, definitely. You won’t feel like you overpaid thanks to its multi-device functionality, ergonomics, and gorgeous appearance. Buy it if you can afford it.
