The Huawei P40, P40 Pro, and P40 Pro+, the company’s new flagship smartphones, were unveiled on Thursday by a Chinese electronics manufacturer. At an online event, the gadgets were introduced with the Huawei Watch GT 2e, a new smart wearable. In addition, the business debuted Sound X, its first wireless speaker.
The business announced the Huawei Watch GT 2e as part of an expansion of its line of smart wearables. The device has a 455mAh battery that, under normal use, is said to last up to 14 days. The 1.39-inch circular AMOLED touch colour display on the Huawei smartwatch is circular. The watch, according to the manufacturer, has 100 workout modes, including those for classic sports, and is intended to encourage an active lifestyle.
Eight outdoor activities, including jogging, walking, mountain climbing, hiking, trail running, cycling, open water swimming, and triathlon, are among the 15 professional training modes included in the Huawei Watch GT2e’s health and fitness-related functions. It also contains seven indoor exercises including rowing, elliptical machines, swimming in pools, cycling, walking, and running.
The Watch GT 2e’s professional model provides thorough monitoring with the ability to track 190 different sorts of data and can automatically identify six professional training modes that are beneficial to the user during workout sessions. The gadget has a Huawei HiSilicon Hi1132 processor, Bluetooth 5.1, and 4GB of storage. Next month, Vmall and Huawei Authorized Retailers will offer the smartwatch for a cost of Euro 199. The watch will be available in four different colour variations from the company: Graphite Black, Lava Red, Mint Green, and Icy White.
In addition, Huawei debuted its first Sound X wireless speaker, its first step into the wireless speaker market. To release the Sound X on the market, the business collaborated with the French audio company Devialet. The speaker uses Push-Push speaker design and Devialet’s proprietary Speaker Active Matching (SAM) signal-processing to dampen speaker vibrations.
The Huawei Share technology embedded into the Sound X wireless speaker allows for wireless music streaming from any Huawei smartphone running EMUI 10.1 in addition to 360-degree Hi-Res audio. Wi-Fi Direct and Bluetooth can be used to connect the gadget to any other device. Yet the business advises using Huawei Share to connect for the optimum audio experience. As the company withheld the price, the wireless speaker’s price is not yet known.
