Minecraft is beloved by many people. It is the creator of all sandbox games on the Internet and, naturally, one of the most played games worldwide. Players must construct, alter, or destroy their surroundings in sandbox games like Minecraft. The goal is to gather materials and use them to build the surrounding region. Additionally, there is a survival mode where the Ender Dragon must be slain. The game eventually became compatible with many different operating systems, including Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and more. The game has not yet been created for the Chrome OS, though. However, there is a workaround for the same since it is compatible with Linux. So, we’ve included a step-by-step tutorial for installing and playing Minecraft on a Chromebook below.

Installing Minecraft Education Edition on Chromebook
The educational edition of Minecraft is downloadable for Windows, Mac, iPad, and Chromebooks. With features like multiplayer project collaboration with peers, teaching tools to support teachers, learning content and curriculum guides across topics, and much more, it encourages game-based learning among students. Since the game is an Android app available on the Play Store, you would need to speak with your school administrator to have Google Play enabled on their end.
Open the Settings page in Step 1 and enable Google Play Store. You’ll be able to download Android apps using the Play Store on your Chromebook.
Step 2: Open the Play Store, type “Minecraft Education Edition” into the search bar, and then hit the install option. The end!
The students are only allowed ten free logins, which should be taken into consideration. The app would then require a subscription, which would need to be purchased. Students would also need to log onto the app using their school account credentials.

Once the Minecraft programme has begun to run, you must log in using your Microsoft or Majong account. Use the WASD keys to travel throughout the game, and the mouse to adjust your gaze direction. While the Esc (Escape) key launches the game’s menu, where you can customise numerous settings and controls, pressing E will open your inventory. Shift allows you to crouch while Spacebar is used for jumping. While using a right click to place a block or use an item, a left click is used for attacking or destroying.
The WASD key controls work perfectly with the game. However, you can change the sensitivity by going to Options > Mouse Settings > Sensitivity: Hyperspeed if the game or your mouse seems a little sluggish. You can alter your Chromebook’s settings to enhance performance even more so that your gameplay is quick and effective. You may make sure that your Chromebook has all of the Chrome flags activated. By appropriately tweaking the visuals, frame rate, smooth lighting, render distance, and other in-game options, you may maximise your gaming experience.
