Find external IP address

Search for Open Command Prompt in Windows. Enter the command line IP configuration. Your internal IP address will be shown in front of you.

On your screen, click the apple icon in the upper left corner. Select your current network type by going to System Preference > Network.

Go to settings and then select Wi-Fi. There will be an I inside a circle there next to your linked network. To view the IP address, tap on it.
