After the release of Windows 11, Microsoft garnered a lot of praise for creating a unified and aesthetically appealing OS. However, Windows 11 still contains a few legacy components that bring back memories of the Windows XP era. Rectify11 was created by a team of developers who modified Windows 11 to correct these minor anomalies. This article examines Rectify11 and explains how to set up this modified and rebuilt version of Windows 11 on your computer. So let’s get started right now without further ado.
In this article, we’ve covered what Rectify11 is and how to set up the modified version of Windows 11 on your computer. We compared all of Rectify11’s enhanced features to those of Windows 11 from Microsoft. Not only that, but at the end, you can see my initial thoughts after using Rectify11. Expand the table below to see all of its sections.
Rectify11 is a customised version of Windows 11 that tries to rebuild and correct UI flaws in Microsoft’s most recent desktop operating system. It was created by MikeRosoft6009, a developer. To maintain everything in line with the contemporary Fluent Design, the shell has been completely redone.

To start, it includes a constant dark mode that works with Win32 applications, old Control Panel, Winver, and dialogue boxes, among other historical windows. Rectify11 actually makes the user interface completely consistent and harmonious by being backwards compatible with UI elements that are ten years old.
In addition, Rectify11 completely overhauled the Windows 11 installation process with modernised icons to reflect the contemporary look. The team has also created some awesome new wallpapers and changed the loading ring on Rectify11. Not to mention that new icons, fonts, and WinUI 3 themes have been added to the recovery environment, File Explorer dialogues, system properties, action boxes, and other UI components. Rectify11 basically focuses on fixing the remaining area where Microsoft hasn’t paid much attention.
Last but not least, Windows 11 has been optimised by Rectify11 to be less bloated and more performance-driven. Because of this, background telemetry is not present, and the TPM need has been dropped. So, if you want to experience Windows 11 consistently, install Rectify11 by following the instructions below. Dark mode consistency throughout the whole UI, including Win32 programmes, is the primary distinction between Rectify11 and Windows 11. If you enter the Control Panel or navigate to the System Properties window on Windows 11 dark mode, you will discover that they are still in light mode. On Rectify11, the dark mode is applied to every UI element, even if you open a dated UI element like the ODBC dialogue. As you can see in the screenshot below, the dark mode is genuinely consistent here. Rectify11 vs. Windows 11: Implementation of Dark Mode
In addition, Rectify11 has updated the setup and advanced options screens as well as the recovery environment. While Windows 11 still uses the previous Windows setup procedure. Not to mention, Rectify11 updated the icons to make them more consistent with Fluent design. On Rectify11, you receive a consistent user interface even in a WinPE environment. Next, Rectify11 doesn’t display advertisements, make suggestions, or prompt you to download Microsoft Teams or OneDrive. The revamped Windows 11 interface is entirely devoid of bloat and has fully eliminated background Windows Telemetry. As a result, the performance of this Windows 11 OS makeover is significantly better. It was only using 1% of the CPU and 1GB of RAM when I was using it. This kind of performance is not available on Windows 11 out of the box. Rectify11 vs. Windows 11: Performance

Finally, when it comes to updates, Rectify11 allows you to install security and quality patches, but cumulative updates are not supported. Windows 11 performs better in this area since Microsoft handles updates directly. Rectify11 has Explorer Patcher built-in, so if you desire a Taskbar and Start menu that resemble Windows 10, you can have those features.
In this article, we’ll install Recify11’s most recent build, version 2.5. The Windows 11 Pro 21H2 build is its foundation (22000.318, November 2021). This updated build can also be activated with a Windows licence key. You won’t receive cumulative updates in terms of updates, but security and quality patches are functional. Now that that has been said, let’s get to the detailed instructions.
Reminder:We don’t recommend users test a customised version of Windows 11. You can choose whether to test a modified OS on your PC.
1. Start by downloading Rectify11’s most recent ISO image from the program’s official website. After that, click this link to download Rufus and turn your USB drive into a bootable device.
2. Next, launch Rufus, connect the USB drive, choose the ISO file, and press the Start button. In essence, proceed as you would to create a bootable USB drive for Windows 11.
3. Restart the target PC after inserting the USB device. Press the boot key, which should be one of the function keys, when the computer restarts (F9, F8, F7, etc.). Look it up online if you are unsure about your computer or laptop’s boot key. When the boot selection screen appears, choose your USB drive and press Enter.
4. Rectify11’s setup is now loading on your computer. As you can see, the legacy installation window is not displayed. Everything, from the setup to the desktop shell, has been updated.
5. Install this revamped operating system on your preferred drive by following the on-screen instructions. There it is.
