Don’t you already know how much negativity social media sites like Twitter can spread? One of the most potent social media networks in the world is reportedly Twitter. However, it is also true that enormous power comes with great responsibility. But doesn’t the abuse of power simply fall to one’s feet on its own? However, you may quickly get rid of any such Twitter annoyances that have been bothering you recently. You may manage your interactions with other accounts on Twitter by using the block and mute tools. The steps to block, unblock, or mute someone on Twitter are outlined below with visual instructions to help you through the procedure.
When you block someone on Twitter, you prevent them from following you, messaging you, viewing your Tweets, or tagging you in pictures. You also stop receiving their alerts. The mute option is for you if all you want to do is get rid of their tweets from your timeline without entirely blocking them. The take a break option on Facebook serves the same purpose as the mute option on Twitter. Additionally, Twitter gives you the option to mute any words or notifications that you don’t want to appear in your timeline.
One thing to keep in mind, though, is that blocking a user on Twitter whose account you are already following will result in both of you unfollowing that account. Before blocking someone on Twitter, it’s important to keep in mind that any Tweets you’ve made about them specifically will be available for them to view and attach during the reporting process if they decide to report your account. Therefore, it is crucial to fully understand how these tools operate before employing them.
