Step 1: Launch the Instagram application on your phone or tablet and select the Add (+) button in the upper right corner of the screen.
Step 2: From the drop-down menu, select Post.
Step 3: Select the image you wish to share from the Gallery area and click the Next (blue right arrow) icon in the top right corner of the page. By selecting the album symbol adjacent to the camera icon, you can also decide which many photographs to submit as an album.
Step 4: In the following box, edit your image(s), and then click the Next (blue right arrow) button in the top-right corner.
Step 5: In the following box, select Add Music from the menu to the right of Add Location.
Step 6: On the screen, a list of music that are accessible on Instagram is displayed. You can select one of these tracks to add to your Post.
Step 7: Drag the pink bar down the timeline to choose the section of the song you wish to use as the post’s background music. By selecting the symbol as it is displayed below, you can even change the duration. Click on the Check icon in the upper right corner once you have finished configuring the music track.
Step 8: You can tag the people in your post and add a caption or a location. Click on the Check icon in the top right corner of your Post once you have finished all of the edits.
