13 more languages are now supported by the invitation-only audio-chat service Clubhouse. Five of the thirteen new language options for the audio-only social media app will be in Indian. As of right now, only Android users will be able to access the platform’s additional language support for The Clubhouse.
Language support will soon be offered to the iOS platform, according to Clubhouse now. In addition, the social media now has a new app icon.
We’re really happy to say that today, all of that is changing, as we are rolling out our first wave of local language support, the company wrote in a blog post. The first thirteen new languages are launching right away on Android. The statement said, “We’ll be adding support for iOS and more languages shortly, so that individuals from Mumbai and Paris to Sao Paulo and Jakarta may experience Clubhouse in a way that seems a little more native to them.”
French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Kannada, Korean, Malayalam, Portuguese (Brazilian), Spanish, Tamil, and Telugu are among the 13 new languages that have begun to roll out for Android.
In addition, Anirudh Deshmukh, one of Clubhouse’s Indian creators, has been chosen as the app’s new icon. He resides in a remarkable area of Clubhouse where hundreds of various languages are spoken, the corporation claims. And like Mandiie Martinez, the founder of the Chigona AFclub, who came before him, Anirudh is a multi-hyphenate person with various skills.
Separately, the audio-only social networking app unveiled the pinned links function, enabling users to make money from their efforts and using it for a number of amusing activities including playing games, conducting polls, and sharing links to YouTube films.
Using Pinned Links, users can add a link to the room’s header. The moderators only need to select Pin a Link from the menu at the top right. According to Clubhouse, any room moderator has the power to modify or remove the link at any moment.
