Share location on Google Maps
You can let your phone contacts know where you are by following these procedures. Follow these instructions and ask them to tell you their map location if you want to track someone’s location.
Go to Google Maps and tap on your profile image in the top right corner of the screen in Step 1.
Select Location Sharing in Step 2.
Step 3: Pick a location to share.
Step 4: Until you turn the tracker off or for a set amount of time, you can broadcast your whereabouts. Choose the person with whom you want to share your location.
The contact will be informed of your location. If you wish to follow someone, ask them to share their location with you so that Google Maps can show you where they are.
