Step 5: Open the link that Snapchat sent you in your email inbox.

Step 7: On your smartphone, extract the zip file.
Step 8: Open the mydata folder after the file has been extracted.
Step 9: To view deleted messages, open the index.html file.

All you have to do to retrieve recently deleted messages on Snapchat is access the cache data. Enter com.snapchat.android under Android > Data > Files > Internal Storage > Files. To remove the.nomedia extension, locate the messages file and rename it. If your phone is unable to recognise the file, try again after adding the.txt extension. If you don’t see any messages, Snapchat has probably already cleared its cache. In this scenario, you will need to use the procedure outlined above and ask Snapchat for access to your account data in order to recover lost messages.
